Our 2019 Graduating Class
This year we have over 40 young men and women graduating college thanks to the Coast Guard Foundation scholarship program. Meet three of this year's graduates who have written to share their gratitude for our support.
"I wish to express my most sincere gratitude because the scholarships I received made a huge impact on the past four years of my life and contributed to my success. Thank you to everyone involved in the Foundation for your generosity."
Jessica, who graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in Microbiology.
"Thank you for all the help I received during my time in school! The scholarship helped me in that I didn’t have to work, so I was able to put all of my attention on school. Not only that, I was able to graduate debt free."
Gabrielle, who graduated from Flagler College with a degree in Elementary Education/Deaf Education.
"Thank you for the support it has helped immensely with the cost of my education. With your support I have been able to get that much closer to my goal of becoming an officer in the U.S. Coast Guard."
Clayton, who graduated from the Maine Maritime Academy with a degree in Marine Engineering Technology.
With the soaring costs of a college education, our scholarship program is a vital resource to Coast Guard families around the country. It is our honor to invest in their futures and thank them for their service, for all in the Coast Guard family serve our nation with pride.
