Why Morale and Wellness Matter for Coast Guard Members and Families
When is an easy more than an easy chair? When it's a place to rest and recover after a long watch or search and rescue case. Or, when it’s a way to gather with your shipmates to unwind and destress. The morale, wellness, and recreation gear Coast Guard units receive with Coast Guard Foundation support offers more than downtime. These resources help members decompress, reduce stress, and stay connected as a team. They also give Coast Guard families time to come together and feel at home wherever they are stationed.
Supporting the morale and wellness of Coast Guard members is a core part of our mission. These recent projects from around the country show how we’re investing in everyday quality of life for Coast Guard members and families.
