The Run to Remember Comes to New London: Join the First-Ever Coast Guard Foundation 5K in Connecticut's Coast Guard City
The Coast Guard Foundation is proud to bring its Run to Remember series to New London, Connecticut for the very first time. The Run to Remember New London 5K Road Race & Walk takes place on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Fort Trumbull State Park. With the event just weeks away, now is the time to register, rally your crew, and show up for the men and women of the U.S. Coast Guard who gave everything in service to our nation.
A Meaningful Race in a Meaningful Place
New London is no ordinary backdrop for a Coast Guard event. Home to the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and one of the most storied Coast Guard communities in America, the city carries a deep, living connection to the service.
The race invites Coast Guard families, active-duty service members, veterans, and community supporters to come together along the waterfront at Fort Trumbull State Park in an act of collective remembrance. Every stride is a tribute. Every registration is a statement: we remember, and we will not forget.
