We’re investing more resources in education grants for Coast Guard spouses than ever before; it’s part of our commitment to triple support to the Coast Guard.

Helping Coast Guard spouses earn their college degrees and professional certifications has many benefits, including contributing to their family’s financial security by increasing their household income, and providing essential services within their communities by working as counselors, nurses, teachers, small business owners, and every profession in-between.

New this year, we are proud to announce that our education grants for Coast Guard spouses are now offered at $1,000 annually. In addition, a partnership with Delta Dental provides education grants valued at $2,000 each for applicants studying dentistry, medicine, nursing, and wellness practices.

We are so proud of our Coast Guard families and spouses putting in the work to make a difference for themselves, their families, and their communities. Last year, we awarded more than 300 grants so Coast Guard spouses could work towards their chosen degrees, professional certifications, and career development goals.

Are you a Coast Guard spouse taking college classes or working on a professional certification or trade program? Apply for a 2024 spouse education grant today.
