Everything you need to know about applying for a scholarship this year

We are accepting scholarship applications from Feb. 1 through April 1 (please note: deadline extended) for the 2022 -- 2023 school year. Children of Coast Guard members may apply for annual scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 to attend an accredited college or technical school. Scholarships are available to children of Coast Guard members who are active duty, active-duty reserve and retired. Eligible applicants may apply for up to four years of assistance.

Interested children of Coast Guard members should check eligibility guidelines at coastguardfoundation.org/apply. All applicants must use the Coast Guard Foundation’s online application.

The majority of our scholarships benefit the dependents of enlisted members, however, we do have a scholarship opportunity for the children of commissioned officers, and another scholarship for Coast Guard families working at Aviation Logistics Center Elizabeth City. Details are below.
