We remember the crew of CG-1705, a C-130 fixed-wing aircraft from Air Station Sacramento, that launched on October 29, 2009 for a search and rescue mission near San Clemente Island. During that mission, CG-1705 collided with a Marine Corps AH-1W Cobra, and all seven Coast Guard members and both Marines were lost.
