Boat Donation Program

The Coast Guard Foundation seeks sail and power vessels to be used in various waterfront programs including maritime training activities, intercollegiate sailing competitions and long-distance ocean racing programs at the Coast Guard Academy, Auxiliary safety patrols and Coast Guard morale boats.

Your gift will:
• Support the Coast Guard Academy Waterfront program
• Prepare cadets as professional mariners and Coast Guard officers
• Provide a platform for hands-on leadership training and professional development
• Provide training vessels for the Coast Guard Auxiliary

How to donate your boat:
1. Contact the Coast Guard Foundation at 860-535-0786 to determine if your boat qualifies.
2. Complete the necessary donation paperwork provided by the Coast Guard Foundation. 
3. Claim your tax deduction.  You will receive an official letter and IRS form from the Coast Guard Foundation to be submitted with your tax return.
