The Coast Guard Foundation is pleased to announce the establishment of The Commander Daniel J. Christovich Scholarship Fund in honor of Commander Christovich’s retirement earlier this year after 23 years of distinguished service.

The Chrstovich family wanted to find a meaningful way to celebrate Dan’s longtime service in the Coast Guard, therefore they decided to establish a scholarship fund in his name which will remain in perpetuity at the Foundation. Each year, a Commander Daniel J. Christovich scholar will be named and the Foundation will award the deserving student of an enlisted person a $2,500 scholarship for undergraduate studies.
