Support to the Coast Guard Academy Will Benefit Character and Leadership DevelopmentIn events on February 22, 2010 at the United States Coast Guard Academy, Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), represented by RADM Patrick Stillman, USCG (Ret.), presented a gift to the Coast Guard Foundation to support character and leadership development programs for cadets at the USCGA.
This gift presentation represents a multi-year commitment from SAIC to support cadet leadership development across the four-year academic and enrichment experiences of these young officers-in-training.
The funds will be used to develop and enhance programs that are focused and centered on cadet leadership initiatives that are proposed and defined by Academy faculty and senior leadership.
“The Coast Guard Foundation is pleased to partner with SAIC to support cadet leadership training and education in an innovative, cadet-centered way,” said Anne Brengle, Coast Guard Foundation President.
