Coast Guard Foundation
The Coast Guard Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1969. It was initially created to provide funds for academic, athletic, and morale needs of the Coast Guard Academy and its cadets which were not covered by federal operational funding. In 1986, the Foundation expanded its charter to support projects that enhance the education, welfare and morale of all Coast Guard members and their families. The Foundation is governed by a Board of 100 Trustees from all parts of the country. The Trustees elect from their members a 30 person Board of Directors to oversee the management of the Foundation. Located in Stonington, Connecticut, the Foundation employs a staff of ten civilians responsible for meeting the Foundation’s objectives and working closely with the Coast Guard on all issues.

An effort to honor the Coast Guard members lost in the C-130 plane crash in October of this year is underway; Ryan White, a USCG Academy graduate and current lieutenant in the Coast Guard, has developed this innovative program to raise funds for the Coast Guard Foundation’s Family Disaster Relief Fund.
Fundraisier Supports Coast Guard Foundation Family Disaster Relief Fund

An effort to honor the Coast Guard members lost in the C-130 plane crash in October of this year is underway; Ryan White, a USCG Academy graduate and current lieutenant in the Coast Guard, has developed this innovative program to raise funds for the Coast Guard Foundation’s Family Disaster Relief Fund. 

LT White is undertaking this project as a private citizen and this project is not endorsed by the United States Coast Guard in an official manner.

The bracelets are orange and embossed with “Crew of CG-1705” on one side and “Lost But Not Forgotten” on the other side.

To order a bracelet, please send an email to cg1705bracelets@gmail.com and include your name, the number of bracelets you would like, your donation amount ($2 per bracelet, however larger donations are gladly accepted), and the address to where you would like the bracelets mailed.
